SIMPLIFYING CUSTOMS PROCESSES AND REMOTE WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
The process developed for FerriFirenze, a Florentine company manufacturing precious jewellery with an authentic and typically Italian feel, involves labelling all their products and the rolls they are stored in.
For the company that exhibits its jewelry at numerous trade fairs in various countries around the world, where the jewelry is tried on and sold, it was essential to find a quick and practical way to promptly check the items still in stock. At the same time, our system automatically generates an inventory of their “mobile warehouse”, thus simplifying customs clearance procedures between one event and the next.
Once their work at the fair is finished, the operators collect all the unsold jewels and place them in the appropriate rolls. They then have to draw up an inventory of the products sold. Automatic reading, thanks to RFID tags, is almost instantaneous, and this generates a new list that is then sent to customs.

WHY RFID?
Thanks to the use of RFID tags, it was possible to provide an easy-to-read tool for all the company’s stakeholders, from trade fair operators to central warehouse control. Automatic decoding of product labels was used both to track jewels still available in stock and to automatically generate a list to present to customs between the events, and finally for easy accounting management when the jewels were sold.
The results generated in this case are therefore the speed and precision with which the status of the “mobile” warehouse can be monitored. Dealing with small yet valuable products, the company can have full control over the actual sales generated at the fair events.
The software and processes we develop are tailor-made to the business needs, yet with particular attention to costs.
The core of our software suites is tightly integrated with the ERP developed specifically by our partners and is based on our proprietary libraries, developed by us and constantly updated. This ensures stable, secure, and extremely flexible software.
